After a couple thousand plus miles this has become my go to hot weather jacket. I really do feel like the Hi-Viz has made me seen more than usual so I feel like the jacket has made me safer. I added a back protector. My only gripe is that this should be included - although other brands don't do this either. The provided armor (elbows, shoulders) is flexible and fits well. The jacket seems to have a snug fit overall, but it's not annoying. Without the liner in this flows a ton of air. I've been fine on hot swampy 80°-90° days even with a backpack on. I do not have much to say about the drystar liner (yet). I am one massive thunderstorm in, but it was hot and I did not have the liner with me so that was a guaranteed soaking - no fault of the jacket. In general I've only been piling the sweet summer miles on so far so I may add some info on the liner later in the season as we go into the season of darkness and misery. Not much else to say other than the velcro on the throat closure does bite into the jacket liner. Not a big deal but might require a touch of care to not cause damage over a longer period. I would absolutely buy this jacket again. It's a bummer that it has been discontinued. Also nice to see the Alpinestars branding taking a more subtle approach on this one.
